This is a bittersweet moment.
After seven rewarding years with the New York State Police, I am transitioning to a career in higher education. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to serve the agency’s Crime Laboratory System, and I am very grateful for all of the incredible opportunities I have had with NYSP. I have learned and grown so much during my time with the agency, and I will truly miss all of the incredible colleagues and friends I have made over the years.
I look forward to applying the program management skills I honed as a forensic professional to my new role as Director of Professional Development and Continuing Education at The College of Saint Rose.
This is a big change for me, and I'm ready for new challenges and opportunities!
I'm excited to continue to contribute to the field of forensics as a forensic consultant. I'm here to support crime labs meet continuing education requirements through customized professional development programs - from courtroom testimony to developing resilience against vicarious trauma in criminal casework. I'm available to address and maintain accreditation requirements, onboard and train new staff, and create valuable learning & development and organizational health & wellness initiatives.
I am also passionate about supporting forensic departments in higher education with curriculum enrichment and career development.
